Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Professional with extensive knowledge in machinery and piping design.

  • Design mechanical systems independently, lead projects, and drive results.
  • Assist project leads in daily operations and ensure task completion.
  • Develop quality plans and schedule for assigned tasks.
  • Analyze and advise on design modes to improve project outcomes.
  • Stay updated with new regulations, rules, and industry developments.
  • Report daily metrics, including man-hours and schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor team work progress, provide feedback, and train junior engineers.
  • Identify and resolve project issues under mechanical responsibility.
  • Provide regular project reports and attend meetings.
  • Complete assigned tasks for project drawings or documents.
  • Prepare marine machinery and piping calculations, specifications, and vendor drawings.
  • Coordinate with shipyards, consultants, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machinery and piping design in the marine/offshore industry.
  • 2 years of senior engineer experience.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/MS office/Aveva.
  • Familiarity with Class rules, Statutory requirements.
  • Good knowledge of machinery/piping/HVAC design.
  • Strong communication and analysis skills.
