Our organization is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to fill an exciting role in our service team. In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical queries and provide remote or on-site support during the maintenance phase of non-KONE products.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting, commissioning, and parameter programming in consultation with Non-KONE Equipment networks or Global teams – Lifts and Escalators.
- Support site surveys for new portfolio acquisition, working closely with supervisors or engineers to ensure accurate estimation of maintenance costs.
- Collaborate with the THD team to develop and improve standards and procedures related to Non-KONE equipment.
- Coordinate competence development in field organizations regarding new technologies.
- Ensure seamless integration and conversion of site activities from NKE to KONE Controllers in modernization projects.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in elevator & escalator industries.
- Proven project implementation and change management experience (minimum 3 years).
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- Fluent English communication skills, with other languages being an asset.
- IT literacy and willingness to travel.
- Strong technical understanding of elevators/escalators/doors spare parts applicable to non-KONE products.
