Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Sales professional to join our team as a Global Shipping Marketing Lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and/or account servicing with key account management experience gained in the shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Customer Account Manager for some key global corporate customers to ensure growth in support with these customers. Work on developing and strengthening these key relationships.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the assigned customers' portfolios and work on converting leads into sales
  • Actively engage as a partner to assigned customers and understand these key customers' development plans so that the company can respond to their requirements.
  • Propose and implement marketing strategies to better present product offerings to key clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years' experience in shipping industry.
  • Background in marketing and/or account servicing with key account management experience gained in the shipping industry.
  • Has experience covering containerised shipping.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines & keen interest in learning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal/influencing skills.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to build longer term relationships and business opportunities.
  • Self-starter who is a fast learner who thrive in a fast paced and global work environment. Able to work independently and constantly strive to achieve results.
