User Experience Instructor Position

We are currently seeking an experienced User Experience instructor to lead our 12-week User Experience Bootcamp. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design and be able to inspire and motivate students to succeed.


About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring others in the field of user experience. As an instructor, you will play a key role in shaping the skills and minds of the next generation of product designers.


Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Commit a few hours per week preparing lessons and materials, leveraging existing curriculum content.
  2. Work closely with co-instructors and/or teaching assistants to provide students with meaningful and prompt feedback on their progress, including assessment rubrics.
  3. Guide students through development of a stellar capstone project that showcases their abilities to hiring managers.
  4. Facilitate a dynamic, collaborative, and positive classroom community.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience working in user experience design on a product team. They will also have fluency in some or all of the following topics: the UX Process, User Research and Personas, Usability Testing, UX Analysis, Information Architecture, Interface Design, Wireframing, Prototyping, Analytics and Optimization, Mobile UX, and/or HTML/CSS.
