Senior Key Account Manager

The role of Senior Key Account Manager at Ferrero involves accurately forecasting and reaching sales targets for assigned Key Accounts. This entails analyzing customer performance, promotion ROI, developing customer plans, and joint business planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating client contracts and promotional activities, managing trade spend efficiency, and overseeing in-store implementation.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and lead dedicated key accounts strategy
- Plan and implement strategic goals for business growth
- Provide strong ownership of assigned accounts, delivering commercial targets through joint efforts
- Manage commercial policy, trade terms, and customer plans for key accounts nationwide
- Develop and analyze customer plans, customer-specific goals, and strategy, reviewing performance and defining future business opportunities
- Manage sales forecasts and continuously monitor sales targets achievements
- Formulate proposals and review budgets and objectives (volumes, trade spending, etc.)
- Negotiate contracts, annual/sessional promotion plans according to marketing plans, planograms, and other customer agreements
- Manage trade spending, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and commercial policy
- Perform trade spending analysis to guarantee the best return on investment, tying trade spending to specific business-driving activities (promotions, second placements, etc.)
- Monitor actual in-store deployment of actions at a national level, follow up, and coordinate with sales teams to ensure local execution aligns with defined plans and policies
- Deliver clear and timely communication exchange with cross-functional teams, collaborating with relevant stakeholders effectively
- University degree
- Strong relevant experience in FMCG with professional skillset and knowledge of modern and traditional trade, impulse channel. Experience managing NTUC, Sheng Siong, or DFI accounts is highly preferred
- Experience with channel and customer plans, commercial logistics, sales, field, and merchandising processes
- Strong analytical, account management, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proactivity, high result-orientation, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong people management, ability to work across teams and cross-functionally, being a good team player and contributor
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Fluency in English, written and spoken; Fluency in Chinese is preferred
