Desktop Support Specialist Role

This position is for an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide high-quality infrastructure desktop support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 1 infrastructure desktop support to Trading users via different communication channels, including email, phone calls, walk-ins, and instant messaging.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues relating to hardware, network, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Ensure all IT issues are logged via a ticketing system and take responsibility for timely resolution, escalating decisively where required.
  • Work closely with various support teams, including Trading and external vendors, to meet trading users' requests and issues.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating the onboarding/movement of trading users, managing small infrastructure projects, and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant IT degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple locations.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
