**Senior Financial Accounting Manager Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accounting Manager to oversee all operational and statutory financial accounting activities.

This role involves ensuring that all accounting related tasks are professionally executed according to company and legal requirements. You will foster a collaborative and innovative culture across your team, overseeing the entire general ledger, accounts payable and cash management functions.

The successful candidate will ensure that all accounting related tasks are optimally executed on the available systems, overseeing the execution of month and year-end procedures and coordinating the compilation of accounting packs for distribution to relevant leaders in the business.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire general ledger, accounts payable and cash management functions.
  • Ensure that all accounting related tasks are professionally executed according to company and legal requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of month and year-end procedures and coordinate the compilation of accounting packs for distribution to relevant leaders in the business.
  • Supervise and oversee the processing of relevant journals, reviewing and querying any anomalies and ensuring compliance to policies.
  • Ensure that required reports are produced, analyzed and distributed to be used at an operational level and prepare income statements and cost allocations and reconcile all of these to the relevant management accounts.
  • Assist with the development and compilation of the budget pack.
  • Compile output reports and review submissions made by the assigned business unit or area.
  • Assist with the compilation of the Chart of Accounts and key metrics identified by the business to ensure effective budget management.
  • Participate in the execution of compliance testing and ensure legal compliance with regards to legal fiscal and tax requirements in relation to the geographies in which they operate.

About this role

This is a senior management role requiring significant experience in financial accounting. The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and organizing abilities, display attention to detail, work well under pressure and deadline driven, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, CA/CPA, CIMA or related field.
  • Extended demonstrated experience working as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor.
  • Extended demonstrated experience working on financial information systems.
  • Extended demonstrated experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
