Job Description:

Career & Alumni Services Officers play a crucial role in fostering connections between industry and educational institutions. Their primary function is to serve as the liaison between the two, enhancing students' employability and making a significant impact on their lives.

These professionals work closely with company representatives from various industries, internal departments, and faculty members. Regular meetings with external companies and alumni are also expected.

They report directly to the Manager of Career & Alumni Services and are responsible for several key tasks:

  • Establishing networks in various sectors to identify potential employers for interns and graduates
  • Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with new and current partners
  • Planning and organizing career-related activities and events for current students
  • Overseeing internship processes and onboardings
  • Maintaining contact with alumni through various online and offline platforms
  • Planning and executing alumni engagement activities
  • Ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements for employment tracking and documentation
  • Deriving statistics and analysis from spreadsheets for regular reporting purposes
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in any field
  • 1-3 years of work experience in educational institutions or related industries (preferable)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and willingness to learn (welcome for fresh graduates)
  • Great attention to detail, methodical approach, and tenacious nature
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic situations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Table, Vlookup, filter) and PowerPoint
  • Keen interest in the latest ICT trends
