Job Title: Family Law Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Family Law Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple matters concurrently, and providing exceptional support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation, formatting, and filing of family law documents, including Originating Summonses, Affidavits, Interim Applications, and Draft Orders
  • Manage e-litigation filing and submissions through the eLitigation system
  • Coordinate court dates, client appointments, and mediation sessions
  • Maintain and organise client files and legal documentation (both digital and physical)
  • Handle correspondence with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
  • Prepare bundles of documents for hearings and submissions (e.g., Bundle of Documents, Bundle of Authorities)
  • Monitor case timelines, deadlines, and ensure compliance with court directions
  • Perform legal research under supervision, where needed
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or relevant certification
  • At least 1–3 years of experience working in a Singapore law firm, preferably in Family Law
  • Proficient in the eLitigation system and familiar with Singapore Family Justice Courts procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
  • Good command of English (spoken and written); ability to draft clear and professional correspondence
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with law practice management software
  • Experience preparing divorce applications, maintenance and custody applications, PPOs, and other related family matters
  • Familiarity with the Family Justice Rules
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
