Job Summary:

A Spa Therapist is a skilled professional who provides luxurious spa treatments to clients, ensuring their relaxation and well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide various types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments performed, including client feedback and any issues encountered.
  • Communicate effectively with clients during treatments, adjusting techniques as needed to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Resolve any client complaints promptly and professionally, reporting incidents to supervisors as necessary.
  • Clean and sanitize treatment areas, changing linens and sterilizing equipment after each use.
  • Offer personalized recommendations to clients based on their specific needs and preferences.
  • Ensure the spa has adequate supplies, reporting shortages to supervisors.
  • Inquire about clients' medical conditions and allergies prior to providing services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Spa Therapist.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are beneficial.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Patience and respect when interacting with clients.
