About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional IT leader to spearhead our regional digital strategy in APAC. As Head of IT Engagement, you will drive business value through innovative technology solutions that enhance operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee experience.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global shipping and logistics company with ambitious growth plans. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into strategic IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and infrastructure standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute IT strategies that align with business goals and emerging technologies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic regional and global IT initiatives.
  • Build trusted partnerships with functional leaders to drive business outcomes.
  • Align IT initiatives with business objectives by understanding functional priorities and delivering tech-enabled solutions.

You will be responsible for managing the functional IT portfolio, capturing and prioritizing technology demands, and overseeing business case development. Additionally, you will provide strategic oversight on major IT projects, coordinating delivery teams, vendors, and change management.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional with:

  • A Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of IT leadership experience in global, matrixed environments.
  • Proven track record in driving digital transformation across key functions.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, IT governance, data privacy, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their business applications.

Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain is a plus, particularly in digitization and paperless initiatives.
