Leading Production Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Production Optimization Lead to spearhead our production planning and execution efforts. This role demands a deep understanding of production processes, inventory management, and team leadership.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and implement effective production strategies to meet output targets, ensure on-time delivery, and optimize machine utilization.
- Analyze daily production operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting delivery schedules.
- Design and implement integrated systems for materials flow, production processes, inventory control, and human work factors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve best-in-class performance on cycle time and delivery metrics.
- Serve as primary manufacturing contact for in-line planning and production control activities.
- Develop forecasts for production logistics, direct and indirect materials to ensure production readiness.
- Monitor current resource inventory levels and ensure sufficient supplies for fluctuating demands.
- Identify bottleneck areas and collaborate with support groups to address constraints.
- Maintain a safe work environment through regular inspections and corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Applied Sciences, or related fields from a recognized institution.
- Experience in manufacturing processes capacity planning, automation, scheduling, and efficiency improvement.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including compressed night shifts.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and leadership skills to motivate and coordinate team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and basic coding skills desired.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently in demanding environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
