HR Data Management Specialist

NTT Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced HR Data Management Specialist to join our team. As a seasoned professional in data analysis and management, you will be responsible for providing support to operational setups where you form part of a HR organization and provide data insights to the broader organization.
This role works closely with cross-functional colleagues such as Finance and IT with the primary focus of this role being to assist with the support and maintenance of HR data and digital platforms through data quality, system alignment, and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyze data flows. Extract and collate data and write and maintain reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
- Data Governance: Responsible for loading data into systems and driving data governance.
- Information Security: Assist in providing accessibility, retrievability, security, and protection of data in an ethical manner, maintaining and implementing information handling procedures.
- HRIS Support: Perform routine and schedules HRIS activities and supports all HRIS upgrades, patches, fixes, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.
- User Support: Assist with testing and resolve system queries within the agreed service level agreement and also assist with maintenance of the HRIS and related HR systems.
- System Administration: Implement tasks as indicated on the roadmap for platforms and conducts system administration checks to ensure that systems are operating smoothly.
- User Queries: Be the first line of response for user queries relating to the HRIS.
- Incident Resolution: Gather information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocate incidents as appropriate.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate actionable data, insights, and recommendations through clear, succinct reports to drive strategic workforce initiatives and Human Resources operations.
- Data Analysis: Apply data analysis, data modelling, and quality assurance techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of business processes, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and associated components.
- Data Protection: Enable the availability, integrity, and searchability of information through the application of formal data structures and protection measures.
- Reporting Policies: Develop new (or amend existing) reporting and analytics policies and processes to keep up-to-date with industry best practice for required HR Data and Analytics reporting requirements.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Seasoned Experience: Seasoned understanding of HR data management principles, data sources, data architecture, and data quality management.
- Data Analytics: Seasoned in data analytics concepts, including data manipulation, data visualization, and basic statistical analysis.
- HR Technology Systems: Seasoned understanding of HR technology systems commonly used in HR functions, such as HRIS and digital HR tools.
- Digital Trends: Seasoned awareness of emerging digital trends in HR, including digital onboarding, self-service platforms, and employee engagement tools.
- Data Governance: Seasoned understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and compliance with data protection laws.
- Data Analysis Tools: Seasoned ability to use data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data analytics platforms to derive insights from HR data.
- Data Visualization: Basic skills in creating data visualizations and HR data dashboards.
- Problem-Solving: Seasoned in problem-solving skills to identify data discrepancies and address data-related issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey HR data updates or insights to team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of HR data and digital information.
- Teamwork: Collaborative and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Development: Willingness to stay updated with the latest HR data management and digital HR trends.
- Resourcefulness: Resourceful and proactive in resolving data-related challenges and finding solutions.
- HR Knowledge: Seasoned understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrolment rules.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology / Data and Analytics or related field.
- Workday Administrator Accreditation: Workday Administrator Accreditation is highly beneficial.
- Relevant Certification: Relevant data/analytics certification(s) preferred.
- Data Reporting and Visualization: Seasoned experience in data reporting and visualization.
- HR Technology Systems: Seasoned experience with HR technology systems for at least 6+ years with digital tools to provide support and assistance to HR teams, especially in Workday system.
S$80,000 - S$120,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
