About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Data Analyst to join our team at NTT DATA. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and data analytics to drive strategic workforce initiatives and improve HR operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to operational setups where they form part of a HR organization and provide data insights to the broader organization. They will work closely with cross-functional colleagues such as Finance and IT to assist with the support and maintenance of HR data and digital platforms through data quality, system alignment, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows. Extracting and collating data and writing and maintaining reports using appropriate reporting tools.
  • Loading data into systems and driving data governance.
  • Providing accessibility, retrievability, security, and protection of data in an ethical manner, maintaining and implementing information handling procedures.
  • Performing routine and scheduled HRIS activities and supporting all HRIS upgrades, patches, fixes, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.
  • Assisting with testing and resolving system queries within the agreed service level agreement and also assisting with maintenance of the HRIS and related HR systems.
  • Implementing tasks as indicated on the roadmap for platforms and conducting system administration checks to ensure that systems are operating smoothly.
  • Being the first line of response for user queries relating to the HRIS.
  • Gathering information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocating incidents as appropriate.
  • Generating actionable data, insights, and recommendations through clear, succinct reports to drive strategic workforce initiatives and Human Resources operations.
  • Applying data analysis, data modeling, and quality assurance techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of business processes, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and associated components.
  • Enabling the availability, integrity, and searchability of information through the application of formal data structures and protection measures.
  • Developing new (or amending existing) reporting and analytics policies and processes to keep up-to-date with industry best practice for required HR Data and Analytics reporting requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A seasoned understanding of HR data management principles, data sources, data architecture, and data quality management.
  • A seasoned background in data analytics concepts, including data manipulation, data visualization, and basic statistical analysis.
  • A seasoned understanding of HR technology systems commonly used in HR functions, such as HRIS and digital HR tools.
  • A seasoned awareness of emerging digital trends in HR, including digital onboarding, self-service platforms, and employee engagement tools.
  • A seasoned understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and compliance with data protection laws.
  • A seasoned ability to use data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data analytics platforms to derive insights from HR data.
  • Basic skills in creating data visualizations and HR data dashboards.
  • A seasoned problem-solving skillset to identify data discrepancies and address data-related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey HR data updates or insights to team members and stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of HR data and digital information.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to stay updated with the latest HR data management and digital HR trends.
  • A resourceful and proactive approach to resolving data-related challenges and finding solutions.
  • A seasoned understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology/Data and Analytics or related field.
  • Workday Administrator Accreditation is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant data/analytics certification(s) preferred.
Required Experience:
  • Seasoned experience in data reporting and visualization.
  • Seasoned experience with HR technology systems and digital tools to provide support and assistance to HR teams, especially in Workday system.
