Job Title: Supportive Educational Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supportive Educational Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have experience in animation or accompanying teenagers.

About the Role

The Supportive Educational Associate will be responsible for supervising students from arrival to departure, ensuring their safety and well-being. They will also be involved in calling and recording student absences/late arrivals, analyzing them in the student follow-up, and ensuring compliance with school rules and safety regulations.

  • Supervision of Students: The Supportive Educational Associate will supervise students in various contexts, including recess, lunchtime, school outings, and during detentions on Saturday mornings.
  • Student Follow-up: They will call and record student absences/late arrivals, analyze them, and provide support to students who require it.
  • Safety and Well-being: The Supportive Educational Associate will ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, reporting any incidents or concerns to the relevant authorities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma
  • Experience in animation or accompanying teenagers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills Required

You will need to possess the following skills:

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Circular 2003-092 of 11/06/2003 concerning the status of the AED, internal regulations of the establishment, and French language proficiency.
  • Child and Adolescent Knowledge: You will need to understand adolescence and be able to position yourself effectively in educational relationships.
  • Know-how: Ability to apply internal regulations, use professional digital tools, and be organized and methodical.
