Manpower Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Manpower Support Assistant.

About the Role:
  • Provide short-term support to educational institutions across Singapore when their regular librarian is unavailable.
  • Ensure efficient processing and circulation of resources to students and other library patrons.
  • Maintain accurate shelf signages and organize library materials for easy access.
  • Catalogue and process new materials promptly for borrowing, and create promotional displays to support curriculum and library programs.
  • Conduct engaging library programs and activities for students, and generate regular reports on loans, overdue items, fines, and collection statistics.
  • Offer excellent customer service and assist library patrons with queries and issues.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the library, including tidying and shelving books.
Requirements:
  • 4 GCE 'O' level passes, including English language proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students and teachers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and willingness to learn the Spydus Library System.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, and comfortable traveling to different locations throughout Singapore with travel allowance provided.
Benefits:
