We are looking for a seasoned IT professional to take on the role of Application Support Lead.

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing level 3 support for complex applications, collaborating with development teams, and driving root cause analysis sessions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application support, including incident management, problem resolution, and production support processes. They should also have a solid understanding of Java development and SQL, as well as proficiency in cloud-native applications and container platforms.

The Application Support Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and systems, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in application support, with 2-5 years in a senior or leadership-level L3 support role.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are highly advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge of incident management, problem resolution, and production support processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Java development and SQL is required.
