IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to broadcast equipment and systems, including activities such as system diagnosis, remediation and monitoring, system administration, patching and preventive maintenance.

  • Provide technical support to broadcast equipment and systems in various environments, including News Studios & News Post Production and asset management system, Outside Broadcast production van, News Room Computer System, etc.
  • Document, communicate, collaborate, and handle fault incidents efficiently.
  • Assess system vulnerabilities and provide guidance on remediation and mitigation of reliability and security risks.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of broadcast equipment and systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on broadcast and IT equipment.
  • Work with different business units to provide technical solutions to enhance existing operations and setup.
  • Evaluate and recommend new broadcast IT equipment and systems.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security or equivalent qualification.
  • CCNA certification in Information Technology networking field is an advantage.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Relevant work experience (0-3 years) in IT, Broadcast or Media Production related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cloud/enterprise system architecture.
  • Network troubleshooting skills of IT devices maintenance and experience with management and configuration of networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
