Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic team in New York. As a key member of our social media team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand vision and goals.

The Role

You will play a critical role in supporting our overall brand social strategy, deep-diving into our Social Media pillar, and contributing to business objectives through your daily responsibilities and team-specific projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Benchmark and develop content schedules, briefs, and assets for social channels.
  • Support timely content delivery, scheduling, and postings.
  • Create engaging copy with compelling calls to action to generate traffic and conversions.
  • Assist with social reports, insights, and payment to partners/vendors/creators.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions/discussions within the team on how to improve content delivery on all social platforms.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Provide administrative support and maintain internal trackers, calendars, and influencer lists.
  • Manage timelines and prompt follow-ups with influencers for various campaigns.
  • Work closely with the team to plan, support, and execute events.
  • Monitor brand coverage across various channels, including digital, social media, and online forums.
Content Production

You will develop a solid understanding of Lovely Bonito's brand, vision, and target audience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing content for social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Staying up-to-date with trending videos and sounds on TikTok and adapting them quickly for our channel.
  • Creating a sound library applicable for future Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
  • Participating in content creation discussions for social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Maintaining daily upkeep and administrative tasks related to team assets.
Community

Your community-focused responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing and managing user-generated content databases.
  • Closely tracking campaign and BAU seeding performance to KOLs.
  • Monitoring competitor and industry news, including potential issues affecting the business.
  • Collaborating with other functional teams to troubleshoot or expedite KOL orders.
  • Providing community support to the Social Media Team - monitoring and responding to comments, questions, and DMs on respective social media channels.
Requirements
  • Ability to adapt quickly to social media trends in a timely manner.
  • Well-versed in content creation for Social Media channels like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving attitude when tackling obstacles compromising workflow, capacity, and/or quality.
  • Strong video content production skills.
  • A good eye for balance and composition.
  • Able to adapt to an ever-changing environment with professionalism, positivity, and flexibility under pressure.
  • Prior experience in social media content creation (especially TikTok) for lifestyle and fashion brands is a plus.
  • Must be based in New York. This is a remote position but requires meeting up at least once a week for content creation etc.
