Construction Site Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a recognized diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, be accredited with IES/ACES, and hold a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects and contribute to delivering quality results. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in construction, preferably in steel and precast building construction, and be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Resident Engineer to supervise and inspect construction work on site
- Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards to ensure timely completion
- Maintain and update site records on project progress to facilitate informed decision-making
- Inspect and monitor the quality of architectural finishing materials delivered to site
- Verify all drawings, including authority submission drawings and shop drawings, to ensure compliance with regulations
- Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with statutory requirements to minimize risks
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
- Proven track record in construction, quality control, and assurance
- Familiarity with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
