Leading Construction Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily quality assurance and control checks
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Corporate Quality Department
- Conduct regular training sessions for subcontractors on quality assurance and control procedures
- Issue non-compliance notifications to subcontractors
- Attend monthly meetings at the Corporate Quality Department
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with method statements and industry standards
- Liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments
Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on quality matters and addressing quality concerns related to CONQUAS scoring.
- Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or conducting relevant training as needed.
Requirements:
- Architectural or structural trained work experience required
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Quality Assurance and Control Specialist in main construction companies, with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & meet tight deadlines
- Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance necessary
- Certifications: BCA-approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
