About The Role:

As a Hotel Sustainability Coordinator at DAISHO DEVELOPMENT SINGAPORE PTE LTD, you will be tasked to drive sustainability forward by ensuring exceptional housekeeping standards across our properties. With your passion for environmental stewardship and commitment to quality assurance, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience while promoting eco-friendly practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Review: Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, pool, and other facilities to guarantee quality standards are consistently met, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms to ensure seamless operations.
  • Team Leadership: Assign rooms to housekeepers for daily shifts, providing guidance on quality control and efficiency best practices.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with Housekeeping management to develop and implement training programs, focusing on quality assurance, standard operating procedures, and sustainable practices.
  • Issue Resolution: Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk, adhering to established protocols.
  • Communication and Coordination: Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards to ensure effective communication among teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain knowledge of standard operating procedures, including lost and found procedures, and adhere to The Westin brand standards for room cleanliness.
  • Safety and Security: Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete necessary safety training and certifications.

About You:
