Operational Excellence Specialist

Join a dynamic organization where you will play a pivotal role in the execution of commercial contracts, trade lifecycle management, and operations. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for managing oil operations, setting up documentary instructions, and dealing with inspection companies.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal communication and cooperation regarding cargoes, including shipping, credit, and other related matters. Your prompt and accurate updates of cargo positions via our trading system are crucial to our operations.
A strong relationship with office colleagues and external clients is essential in this role. You will also handle ad hoc requests generated by the Trading Team, ensuring full compliance with internal controls, external laws, and sanctions requirements.
- Prior experience in cargo operational roles within the oil trading industry or major oil companies is necessary.
- A solid understanding of shipping, charterparties, voyage orders, and associated documentation is vital.
- Experience managing storage and blending programs/positions is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Strong facilitation, planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
