Nanyang Technology University (NTU) is committed to driving innovation and excellence in education. As part of this endeavour, the university seeks a highly skilled individual to assume the role of Senior Executive, Data Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing data management and data structure across various offices within NTU, with a primary focus on Alumni Relations Office, Academy of Career Excellence, External Relations, and Undergraduate Office. This will involve maintaining accurate alumni and corporate partner records, setting up databases and dashboards for efficient reporting, and harmonizing data entry practices.

In addition, the candidate will review existing processes that are data-intensive and mainly undertaken manually, identifying opportunities for process automation to reduce reliance on manual interventions and free up manpower for more strategic thinking matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dashboard Creation and Data Reporting:
    • Leverage AI tools and coding methods to set up comprehensive dashboards, integrating different sets of information from various sources across NTU.
    • Work with stakeholders to identify useful data to be represented in the dashboards, providing deeper insights into alumni and corporate partnership engagements, and supporting better decision-making and reporting.
    • Design a system linking database to dashboard to facilitate more efficient event data reporting.
  • Centralised Database Creation:
    • Work with stakeholders across various NTU offices to consolidate individual databases into one centralised database.
    • Manage the implementation of good data entry practices that suit the various offices' needs.
    • Design database in an optimal manner to capture essential information for decision-making/initiative planning.
  • Process Automation:
    • Work with management and offices to identify possible processes that can be automated.
    • Leverage coding or other appropriate tools to implement Robotic Process Automation to alleviate manual interventions required.
