Job Description

This role entails safely and efficiently operating various equipment and vehicles, adhering to strict guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damages promptly to the supervisor.
  • Performing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks on aircraft parking stands to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operating Aircraft Docking Guidance Systems (ADGS) at aircraft parking stands, as well as manually marshalling aircraft as required.
  • Placing and removing aircraft wheel chocks and safety cones in accordance with airlines' specifications.
  • Ensuring all vehicles and equipment are free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
  • Participating in general loading and unloading operations, ensuring proper handling and placement to avoid damage.
  • Assisting with the docking and withdrawing of Passenger Loading Bridges (PLB).
  • Interpreting Container Pallet Messages (CPM) and Loading Instruction Reports (LIR).
  • Mentoring new recruits within the organization.
  • Adhering to workplace safety, security, and health policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPEs).
  • Complying with airport authority rules, dnata Ground Operation Manual (dGOM), and airlines' GOM.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum secondary education and above.
  • A valid LTA Class 3 driving license or equivalent state driving license.
  • The ability to obtain an Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) after completing the Airfield Rules & Regulations Course (ARRC) and passing the CAG Airfield Rules Test (ART) and Airside Driving & Safety Compliance Test (ADSCT).
  • The ability to upgrade the Airfield Driving Permit after attending internal Class 4D and Class 5S Training and passing the respective driving test.
