Regional Health System Volunteer Network Manager

As a seasoned volunteer manager, you will play a vital role in building and implementing a strategy to engage a network of volunteers to support population health work.

  • Developing and executing a plan to recruit, manage, and deploy volunteers for suitable activities.
  • Collaborating with community partners to build a network of volunteers that support health promotion activities.
  • Leading a team to develop training materials and conduct training sessions for volunteers.
  • Designing and implementing new programs for volunteers to support health promotion and community care.
  • Performing other duties as required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with at least 8 years of volunteer management experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong critical thinking and strategic planning skills, with excellent conceptual and analytical abilities.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and buy-in.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in strategic planning and/or program development would be advantageous.
