Regional Health System Volunteer Manager

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies to build networks of volunteers to support population health work.

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the volunteer network and enhance its impact on population health initiatives.
  • Lead in building partnerships with community organizations to support health promotion activities.
  • Manage a team of volunteers, recruit new members, and deploy them to suitable activities that align with the organization's goals.
  • Design and deliver training programs for volunteers to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Identify opportunities for new program development and lead the implementation process to ensure successful launch and operation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing strategic plans to grow the volunteer network and improve its effectiveness.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with community partners to advance shared goals and objectives.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to achieve specific project objectives and outcomes.
  • Ensuring the efficient deployment of volunteers to maximize their impact and value to the organization.
  • Providing regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring to volunteers to enhance their performance and engagement.
