Job Title: Cell Therapy Specialist

About the Role

This position involves working in a laboratory setting to manufacture and quality control cell, tissue, and gene therapy products. Key responsibilities include performing manufacturing procedures in accordance with cGMP guidelines and environmental health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine quality control and in-process testing sampling of CTGT products throughout manufacturing.
  • Complete relevant manufacturing batch records and logbooks for tasks performed, adhering to Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
  • Clean and maintain equipment and classified areas in manufacturing areas according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Report procedure deviations, adverse incidents, and out-of-specification results to supervisors.
  • Undertake simple preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure proper working conditions.
  • Participate in laboratory administrative work such as filing, processing deliveries orders, and invoices.
  • Support new manufacturing and quality control processes under supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Biomedical), Biotechnology, Life Science, or equivalent required. Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree considered an advantage.

  • Cleanroom experience with sterile and aseptic processing knowledge.
  • Familiarity with safe working practices and cGMP guidelines.
  • Motivation to work in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Able to elevate issues effectively and apply corrections.
  • Proactive team player with demonstrated flexibility.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to work rotating shifts.
  • Good laboratory skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
