Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Import Export Customer Service Officer to join our team as a Trade Facilitation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for effective communication with customers, timely follow-up on daily trucking status, and professional handling of customer complaints and feedback.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum GCE 'N' level qualification, preferably 1 year of experience in the logistics industry, knowledge of Portnet, Yard, and Trip Management Systems, and proficiency in basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and follow up on daily trucking status in a timely manner.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with shipping lines or agents for empty container returns/collection and cost details.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and customers/consignees regarding depot or transport matters.
  • Plan delivery schedules according to customer requirements, meeting deadlines where possible.
  • Prepare billing once the job is completed accurately.

Requirements:

  • A minimum GCE 'N' level qualification.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in the logistics industry.
  • Beneficial knowledge of Portnet, Yard, and Trip Management Systems.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
