Job Description

The AP VAS Issuing Solutions team is a key component of the company's Value-Added Services. The team drives the product roadmap, commercialization, and solution delivery of related Issuing Solutions products, collaborating closely with global and Asia Pacific market teams.

This role is a crucial member of our AP VAS Issuing Solutions team, serving the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will drive the commercialization strategy for Pismo in the Asia Pacific region to meet the 2030 Pismo strategy target. Pismo provides a cloud-native core banking and card processing platform to traditional and digital banks, as well as fintechs, reducing costs, improving operational efficiency, enhancing innovation speed, and adding modular capabilities with flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Pismo Commercialisation Strategy: Develop a commercialisation strategy for AP VAS Issuing Solutions - Pismo by collaborating with the Pismo team and global VAS team to define priority markets and go-to-market strategy.
  2. Market Entry Enablement: Lead Pismo market enablement processes including NBIA approval, legal assessment, risk assessment, AWS assessment, and so on, and get fully ready for target market entry.
  3. Sales Enablement & GTM: Work with the AP Hub and AP markets to develop target account GTM plans, provide sales plays and sales trainings to sales specialists and AEs, and drive Pismo sales in target markets.
  4. Partnership Model: Work with VCA/ VMS/ CS / external partners to define partnership models between Pismo and Visa cross teams/ external players to enable joint GTM and local implementation capabilities.
  5. Market Analysis: Work with AP markets to define target clients, client pain-points, Pismo value propositions, and support GTM strategy.
  6. Product Analysis: Work with the Pismo global team and AP team to conduct product readiness analysis for AP markets and define product gaps for enhancement.
  7. Revenue Target: Develop and achieve revenue targets for AP Pismo by working with various AP markets.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of core banking and card processing platform service market landscape, major players, market trends, and unique value of Pismo in the market.
  • Deep understanding of pain-points and needs of traditional large banks and SME banks, digital banks, fintechs for core banking and card processing, and understanding new technology trends and how Pismo can fill these gaps and provide best value propositions for clients.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in payments product management, especially product management experience in core banking and card processing required.
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience as product management role, with deep knowledge of commercialization strategy planning and execution.
  • Curious, self-starter, fast learner, and critical thinker able to imagine and absorb new market developments and evolving client needs and translate those into practical solutions.
  • Strategic thinker able to piece together a broader business picture and proven business acumen, analytical skills, and keen understanding of new industry trends.
  • Strong team player internally and with clients, working independently to coordinate cross-functional activities, obtaining critical support from multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, yet seamlessly integrate and manage diverse groups and functions organized within different organizational reporting lines.
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking. Good PPT writing and Excel skills for management meeting presentations.
