Role: Facilities Management Specialist (5.5 days)

Department: Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily facility operations, including corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as additional tasks related to various systems such as Electrical, Chiller, ACMV, Cooling Towers, and more.
  • Supervise external vendors, subcontractors, in-house technicians, and cleaning staff on maintenance and additional tasks.
  • Manage the handover, takeover, and reinstatement processes for tenancy units.
  • Evaluate and submit work orders for any additional tasks required.
  • Provide weekly updates on improvement initiatives to the client.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports covering preventive maintenance, utilities, and additional tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, permits, certificates, and licenses for the facilities.
  • Offer essential facility information and support during site meetings as needed by the client.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Uphold and enhance quality service standards.
  • Coordinate with external agencies on new projects and significant repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement rectification projects.
  • Manage project budgeting and cost control.
  • Play a crucial role in developing and implementing facilities management policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with health and safety regulations.
  • Assess and support security systems and building access protocols.
  • Analyze cost, time, and manpower estimates.
  • Assist management with daily site operations and provide technical support and guidance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in developing accommodation strategies to meet service delivery requirements.
  • Strong ability to create specifications for construction, maintenance, and equipment procurement.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern facilities management practices, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general construction standards.
  • Excellent understanding of spatial planning and utilization.
  • Familiarity with budget preparation, project costing, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to establish monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Knowledge of legislation and policies governing office and operational accommodation.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Strong supervisory skills.
  • Proactive in identifying operational weaknesses and implementing reliable solutions.

Work Location:

On-site in Singapore.
