As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facilities management department. This includes maintaining plant equipment, electrical distribution boards, and switchgear rooms, as well as conducting routine inspections and adjustments to lighting control systems.

You will also be responsible for supervising contractors to ensure that maintenance services are performed to specifications and within schedule. Additionally, you will monitor utilities consumption and review operations needs to reduce costs for air conditioning and electrical systems.

Other key responsibilities include responding to internal stakeholders' needs and feedback, and ensuring that all maintenance works are carried out in accordance with relevant authorities' requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience. You will also need to be able to read electrical wiring, control diagrams, and drawings, as well as troubleshoot electrical faults and systems.

Additionally, you will need to have basic knowledge of air-conditioning, including troubleshooting, and be comfortable working at heights, including climbing a 12-meter lamp pole to carry out lighting refocusing and replacement of blown lighting.

Other essential requirements include having an outgoing personality, strong communication and people management skills, and being able to work night shifts and a roster basis (5 days work week).
