Localization Project Manager Job

Gaming localization project managers oversee the delivery of game localization projects, ensuring successful completion and client satisfaction.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage project workflow, coordinating with account executives and clients to clarify instructions and parameters.
  • Negotiate rates and deadlines with contract linguists to maximize profitability and project speed.
  • Use computer-assisted translation tools to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Communicate project issues and delays to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot problems and improve project outcomes.
  • Perform quality checks and issue quality scores for final projects.
  • Bill projects accurately and comply with regulations.
  • Track project progress using data analytics.
  • Maintain working relationships with contract linguists and provide feedback.
  • Investigate and resolve client complaints, implementing systemic changes to prevent repeat issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years localization project management experience in the video games industry.
  • Knowledge of common video game file formats.
  • Direct client-facing experience.
  • Fluent in Chinese, Mandarin (Chinese Clients).

Desired Skills:
