About This Role

This is a prestigious opportunity to join the team of an esteemed restaurant as a front-of-house supervisor. As part of our dynamic service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest has a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

 

As a fine dining service professional, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service with meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of our menu, wine list, and seasonal offerings, guiding guests through their dining experience with professionalism and warmth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to guests' needs promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, wine list, and seasonal offerings to provide expert recommendations to guests
  • Guide guests through their dining experience with professionalism and warmth, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and memorable
  • Oversee a station within the restaurant, coordinating with other service staff to ensure seamless execution of service standards
  • Perform tableside service techniques including food presentation and carving, ensuring that every dish is presented to perfection
  • Assist with wine service and provide informed recommendations to guests, enhancing their overall dining experience
  • Ensure adherence to restaurant standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, upholding the restaurant's high standards of appearance and hygiene
  • Perform all service duties including but not limited to opening and closing of the restaurant, taking and fulfilling customers' orders, cleaning and clearing tables, proper handling of the POS system, and handling guest feedback and resolving concerns promptly and professionally

 

Requirements:

  • Certificate or diploma in hospitality or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant setting
  • Previous experience as a chef de rang, commis de rang, or equivalent position
  • Strong knowledge of food and wine pairing principles
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Professional appearance and exceptional personal grooming standards
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure
