We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Business Development Specialist. This position requires an individual with experience in business development, sales, and relationship-building within the aerospace and defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, MROs, and integrators to enhance Aero ISR capabilities and services.
  • Prioritize market opportunities in alignment with strategic goals and capability fit.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with current and potential OEMs, integrators, and partners to influence future procurements.
  • Manage global partner agreements with OEMs to drive growth and revenue.
  • Identify and close high-value Aero SATCOM deals through optimized routes and channels.
  • Collaborate with teams to build compelling value propositions for Viasat's Aero ISR offerings and work with marketing teams to develop customer-facing materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of 7 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Aero ISR industry in APAC.
  • Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and driving sales growth with OEMs and system integrators in the aerospace and defense sector.
  • Deep understanding of the Aero ISR market, including key players, technologies, and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to travel and negotiate contracts.
