As a Research Fellow, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team exploring the biological basis of gut-feelings and its influence on physiology and behavior. Using mice as models, we investigate diet, microbiome, and host phenotypes through cutting-edge approaches including molecular biology, neuroscience, physiology, and behavior.

Our lab is supported by top-tier grants and offers opportunities for postdoctoral fellows, research assistants, interns, and motivated PhD/Masters students to contribute to impactful research.   • Contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in microbiome gut-brain neuroscience
  • Demonstrate motivation, core animal and lab skills, and teamwork
  • Have experience in multiphoton/2-photon calcium imaging, data analysis, gnotobiotic studies, or microbiome bioinformatics
Requirements
  • PhD in neuroscience or related fields with a strong publication record
  • Ability to lead impactful research on the microbiome gut-brain axis
  • Proficiency in mice handling, optogenetics, animal surgery, and behavior studies
  • Expertise in multiphoton/2-photon imaging or microbiome analysis/bioinformatics
  • Highly motivated, independent, team-oriented, willing to teach and learn
