About the Role

This exciting opportunity is open to highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researchers who are eager to contribute to impactful discoveries in the microbiome gut-brain neuroscience field. Working alongside our expert team, you will be responsible for driving innovative research and collaborating with colleagues to achieve cutting-edge results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute experiments using multiphoton/ 2-photon in vivo calcium imaging and data analysis techniques.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify patterns and trends in microbiome-gut-brain interactions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in gnotobiotic studies and microbiome analysis/bioinformatics.
Requirements
  • A PhD degree in neuroscience or a relevant discipline with a strong publication track record.
  • Experience with animal handling, optogenetics, and behaviour studies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
