Job Overview
The role of a Construction Supervisor entails overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard of quality. Key responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, managing site operations, and supervising the work of sub-contractors.
- Coordinate and monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety provisions at the site working area for sub-contractors and workers to carry out tasks effectively.
- Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns, and coordinate in all aspects of site issues.
- Co-ordinate and monitor the availability and on-time delivery of materials/equipment to complete the construction work within schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of Subcontractor's work and ensure work done in accordance with specification and quality requirements.
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
- Liaise with respective sub-contractors on work methods and sequencing.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant architectural field in the construction supervision of architectural works for projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Able to commit 6 days work week.
