Public Relations Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing public relations programs to achieve project goals.
This involves tactfully handling feedback and complaints from the public and providing support on all press and public relations matters related to the Contract.
- Provide advance notice to the public through distributing approved publicity materials before commencement of the work;
- Explain and brief the public, residents, and occupiers in the vicinity on the impact of construction activities before each stage;
- Arrange and attend meetings on public relation matters with the project team when necessary;
- Provide periodic updates and disseminate information to the public on construction works;
- Prepare a monthly report to update on received feedback and actions taken against them;
- Arrange defect inspections in response to feedback by stakeholders;
- Record and follow up on feedback until closure of case;
- Perform site inspections, handle public concerns and issues;
- Maintain a good relationship with the public before and during construction;
- Perform other public relations tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE A Level or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent with at least 3 years' working experience as a Public Relations Officer in the construction industry;
- Experience in civil construction is an added advantage;
- Analytical and meticulous;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and long hours;
- Good communication skills (verbal and written);
- A team player with strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation to get tasks done independently.
