Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Orange Global PTE. LTD.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional to lead procurement activities, manage suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing: Request quotations, negotiate prices with suppliers, prepare purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with local and overseas suppliers, assess their performance, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of receipts, issuances, and inventory levels.
  • Contract Management: Handle planning, preparation, and administration of company contracts.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive measures.
  • Reporting: Generate monthly purchasing reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: At least secondary school/O Level, higher secondary/pre-U/'A' Level, diploma, advanced/graduate diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in procurement, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of SGD $60,000 - SGD $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
