This role involves reviewing account applications, conducting thorough due diligence checks, and providing expert advice to various business functions. Your primary objective will be to guarantee compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines while identifying opportunities for process improvement to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (ECDD) in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct periodic reviews based on KYC/KYB CDD guidelines, ensuring timely updates and escalations where required
  • Provide high-quality customer service by owning, monitoring, and improving customer experience, handling customer inquiries, and managing communications throughout the entire onboarding process
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer onboarding and account administration
  • Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other subjects relevant to day-to-day work

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 1-3 years of experience in a compliance, onboarding, or due diligence role, preferably within financial services or fintech sectors
  • Good understanding of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) PSN02 Guidelines, Notices, and related laws, directives, regulations, and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with emerging virtual currency regulatory frameworks in other jurisdictions is a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to review and assess documents in both languages
