Experienced Senior Cardiovascular Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team. As a senior staff nurse in the cardiovascular suite, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- To plan and manage the care of individual patients using the nursing process approach comprising of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation in the Closed Monitoring Unit (CMU).
- To prepare patients for procedures by administering necessary pre-medications and ensuring their safety during and after procedures.
- To assist in procedures and prepare instrument trolleys required in various interventional procedures.
- To ensure patient safety when applying principles of administration of contrast media, taking into consideration their medical history and contra-indications.
- To respond and manage emergency situations efficiently and calmly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing
- Post Basic Specialty Certificate/Advanced Diploma in Nursing.
- Singapore Nursing Board Practicing Certificate for Registered Nurse.
- At least 2-5 years of clinical experience
- A minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiology or Radiology interventional procedures or equivalent
