Cardiovascular Care Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Care Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular suite. You will be responsible for assisting with interventional procedures, ensuring compliance with radiology safety policies and procedures, and safeguarding patients and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care using the nursing process approach in the Closed Monitoring Unit (CMU).
  • Prepare patients for procedures by administering pre-medications, shaving necessary sites, and monitoring patients closely after procedures in the CMU.
  • Assist with procedures and prepare instrument trolleys required for various interventions.
  • Ensure patient safety when administering contrast media, considering contraindications and patient history.
  • Respond to emergency situations efficiently and calmly, such as Code Blue scenarios.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing
  • Post-Basic Specialty Certificate/Advanced Diploma in Nursing
  • Singapore Nursing Board Practicing Certificate for Registered Nurse
  • At least 2-5 years of clinical experience
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiology or Radiology interventional procedures or equivalent
  • 5-day work week (Mondays to Fridays, no overnight shift but with extended cases, on-call and callback)
