We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Cardiac Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing haemodynamics monitoring support for coronary angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional radiological procedures. You will work closely with cardiologists to perform Electrophysiology (EPS) studies, assist in post-catheterisation care of patients, and participate in code blue procedures in the cardiovascular laboratory. Additionally, you will perform ECGs, newborn hearing screenings, and other non-radiation procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department (DID)/Cardio-Vascular Laboratory (CVL).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide haemodynamics monitoring support for coronary angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional radiological procedures.
  • Perform Electrophysiology (EPS) studies in collaboration with cardiologists.
  • Assist in post-catheterisation care of patients.
  • Participate in code blue procedures in the cardiovascular laboratory.
  • Perform ECGs, newborn hearing screenings, and other non-radiation procedures in the DID/CVL.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology/Physiology) or Diploma in Medical Technology (Cardiac Technology) / Biotechnology / Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience in Electrophysiology (EPS) studies.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Experience in Haemodynamics monitoring within an invasive laboratory.
Benefits:

This is a full-time position with a 5.5-day work week (42 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be AHPC registered.
