Job Title: Airfreight Import Coordinator

A key role in our import customer service team, the Airfreight Import Coordinator will act as a single point of contact for airfreight import shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience in airfreight import and be able to manage internal and external customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a single point of contact for airfreight import shipments
  • Manage internal and external customers for the movement of import shipments
  • Follow up on urgent shipments proactively
  • Liaise effectively with different levels of stakeholders, including warehouse, operations, billing, and sales teams
  • Ensure that customers' expectations are met and mapped in standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Regular business reviews with customers, including monthly business reviews (MBR) or quarterly business reviews (QBR)
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by immediate superiors
  • Perform end-to-end processes, including billing
  • Follow up with customers on any billing disputes
Requirements:
  • Experience in airfreight import
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel for reporting
  • Able to work with different levels of stakeholders
  • Able to work on weekends if required (alternate Saturdays)
  • Good working attitude
