Job Title: Site Quality Assurance Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Site Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring that all site activities comply with regulations and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor site works to ensure method statements and work procedures are strictly followed.
- Carry out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's work site.
- Ensure the builder executes work in accordance with consultant's instructions.
- Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight them to the consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays.
- Quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project will be part of this role.
- Maintain and update site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports.
- Verify contractors' progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site.
- Witness all inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.
- A minimum diploma in civil engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of residential buildings is necessary.
- The resident technical officer certificate accredited by IES/ACES is a must.
- Conversant in statutory code and requirements is essential.
- A good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills is required.
