Sous Chef for Menu Innovation

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at THE FOREIGN PROJECT PTE. LTD. in Singapore. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and innovative chef to take on a senior role and contribute to the success of our restaurant. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Chef De Partie: Prepare and cook high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes.
- Ensuring that all dishes reach the hot plate or passe correctly garnished, the correct portion and size, presented on the correct serving dish in the prescribed manner.
- Ensuring that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time.
- Supervising members of the kitchen team who are responsible to you.
- Ensuring that junior chefs and trainees receive the right training and optimum guidance.
- Helping to create good communication between floor and kitchen staff and within the kitchen.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Chef or above.
- Demonstrable skills in recipe development and menu innovation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of kitchen operations and safety procedures.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
