Retail Interior Designer
">We are seeking an experienced Retail Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of work, excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality designs on time.
">The ideal candidate will have:
">- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SketchUp
- Strong knowledge of retail space planning, fixture design and material application
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple retail projects under tight timelines
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
">- Concept design development: Creating creative and functional interior design concepts tailored for retail environments
- Design development: Translating branding and customer experience objectives into spatial design ideas
- Technical drafting: Preparing detailed 2D drawings including space plans, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), elevations and sections, and joinery and construction details
- 3D visualization: Creating realistic 3D perspectives/renders to visualize the final retail space
- Retail-specific detailing: Designing and detailing shopfronts, display units, product shelving, cashier counters, and feature walls
- Material selection: Proposing and specifying appropriate materials, finishes, color palettes, and fittings
- Project coordination: Liaising with clients, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
- Documentation submission: Preparing necessary design packages and documents for authority submissions (if applicable)
