About the Role

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring project compliance to local code and authority requirements.

  • The Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer is responsible for checking and designing mechanical works from concept to detailed design, provision of QP supervisory works for projects.
  • Endorsement of authorities' submissions, supervision & apply for certificate of completion as Professional Engineer (Mechanical) for the projects undertaken by company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management, planning, financial management of project, contract administration, ensure key deadlines are met and team work together effectively.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders for civil & structure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works.
  • Design management, coordination with contractors, subcontractors and external consultants.
  • Proactive communication, mentoring and guiding the reporting Engineers and Designers for learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore/Specialized Professional Engineer.
  • More than 10 years in the industry, experience in both construction management and design.
  • Conversant in Engineering analysis design software, BIM software, CFD simulations tools and other mechanical/fire engineering software.
