Job Title: Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and be able to design, develop, and test complex mechanical systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) software, with a focus on mechanical components and systems.

  • Analyze and test prototypes and each revision of a device, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Supervise the development of CAD project drawings from junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Develop, initiate, and manage all phases of projects, from conceptualization to delivery, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Prepare documentation of critical analysis and provide suggestions for correcting errors, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

  • Collaborate with production managers to ensure proper allocation and tracking of resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design and development of mechanical systems.

  • Experience with CAD software, including SolidWorks, CATIA, and Autodesk Inventor.

  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials science.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
